If you are looking for an easy dinner that your family will love then try this chicken and green beans skillet dinner. We like to serve this with mashed potatoes and corn but it would also be great served over rice for a quick and easy meal.
Chicken and Green Beans Skillet Dinner
3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips lengthwise
2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning (more or less per taste)
1 can chicken broth (I used low sodium chicken broth)
2 cups green beans, fresh or frozen
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Season sliced chicken breasts with lemon pepper seasoning.
Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to skillet and brown chicken on both sides over medium to medium-high heat. Lower heat to medium and add chicken broth to skillet.
Put green beans on top of chicken and cover with lid.
Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until chicken is done.
