Easy Loaded Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 6 large russet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bacon or bacon bits
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Chop potatoes into cubes, skin on.

  2. Boil for 15-17 minutes, until potatoes soften and begin to fall apart.

  3. Drain potatoes.

  4. n a large bowl, combine potatoes, sour cream, milk, butter, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

  5. Mix well, until you reach your desired consistency.

  6. Top with a dollop of sour cream, fresh chopped green onions, bacon or bacon bits, and cheese.
