This grilled strip steak with a homemade marinade is fork tender and full of flavor.
Combine the Italian dressing, bbq sauce, minced garlic and brown sugar together in a glass dish just big enough for both pieces of meat.
Coat the meat with the marinade, cover and chill for 3 to 24 hours depending on how much time you have.
Take the meat out and let it rest on the counter for 20 to 30 minutes before grilling.
Heat your grill to 450 degrees or medium high.
Place the meat on the hot grill and cook each side for 3 to 4 minutes depending on how thick the pieces are and how you like your steak to be cooked.
