- 1 15.25-ounce Funfetti cake mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
Toppings
- whipped cream
- rainbow sprinkles
Preheat your waffle iron.
Stir together the cake mix, milk, egg, and vegetable oil with a spoon until the mixture is well combined. If there are still clumps, use a whisk to break them up.
Once your waffle iron is preheated, add about ⅔ cup of the mixture and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden. Repeat until the batter is used up.
Serve with whipped cream and additional rainbow sprinkles!
The number of waffles this makes will depend on the size of your waffle maker. In a 6-inch round waffle maker, it makes about four and a half waffles.
These waffles are naturally softer and more cake-like than traditional waffles because they're made with cake mix.
Store any leftover waffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
