Easy Beef Burrito Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 ounce package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 cup water
  • 15 ounce can corn, drained
  • 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 4 (6 inch) flour tortillas, sliced into 1-inch strips
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat 8 to 10 minuted until no longer pink and cooked through.
  • Drain any excess grease then stir in the taco seasoning, water, salsa, corn and black beans.
  • Cover and continue to cook over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Add in the tortilla strips and stir. Then top with shredded cheese. Once the cheese melts, remove the skillet from heat. Top with sliced green onions.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
