Pecan Topping Ingredients

light corn syrup

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
To make the brownies, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla together until well combined. Then add in the oil.
Next, whisk in the flour, cocoa, and salt until well combined.
Spread the brownie batter into a greased or parchment-lined 8x8-inch baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, until brownies are done.
Prepare pecan pie filling. Whisk sugar and eggs together. Then add the corn syrup, butter, and vanilla, whisking until fully incorporated.
Stir in pecan halves and pour over brownies.
Bake in the center of the oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the pecan filling jiggles slightly when shaken.
Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
To keep Pecan Pie Brownies fresh, store them in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
