Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 3 cups seasoned bread cubes
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 10.5-ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 Tablespoon oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 8x10 or 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • In a large frying pan, add oil and brown the pork chops on both sides.  Place in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • In a large bowl add bread cubes, onion, melted butter, and ½ cup water. Stir everything together and pour over pork chops in the baking dish.
  • In a small bowl add the cream of mushroom soup and milk and whisk together.  Pour over the top of the bread cube mixture in the baking dish.
  • Cover the dish with tin foil and bake in the oven for 45 minutes; until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145˚F.
  • Remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

Choose pork chops that are about 1-inch thick for this recipe.
If your stuffing starts browning too quickly, cover the dish with foil.
Store your leftover pork chops and stuffing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
