- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in half horizontally
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1¼ cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 Tablespoons light brown sugar
Cut your chicken breasts in half horizontally to create 4 thin chicken breast pieces. Coat each one evenly in flour.
In one bowl, combine the panko crumbs and spices. Set it aside and whisk the eggs together with the milk in a separate bowl.
Dip each piece of chicken in the egg mixture before coating it in bread crumbs.
Whisk together the buffalo sauce and brown sugar. Dip each piece of chicken in the mixture and ensure they are evenly coated in the sauce.
Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer two at a time and cook for 13 minutes at 375°F, flipping the chicken over at halfway mark.
Serve on your favorite bread with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Leftover chicken can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can reheat your chicken in the air fryer for about 5 minutes at 390°F to give it a little bit of crispiness.
The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165° as measured with a food thermometer per USDA guidelines.
Cooking times may vary depending on the model of your air fryer.
