Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef, (ground chuck 80/20 or leaner)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp A.1. Original Sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 360 degrees.
  • Combine ground beef and all other ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Divide beef into 6 ounce sections and shape into patties. Press a hole in the middle to cook evenly.
  • Spritz air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray, if desired. Place a little water on the inside of the basket to help prevent smoking.
  • Place patties in a single layer in air fryer basket. Make sure there is plenty of space for each patty to cook (not touching). You can do this in batches, if needed.
  • Cook for 8 minutes then flip the burgers.
  • Cook for an additional 5 to 8 minutes until desired doneness and a thermometer reads 160°. (The USDA sets the minimum safe temperature for ground beef at 160 degrees Fahrenheit.)
  • Serve burgers on buns, with favorite toppings such as cheese, tomatoes, pickles, onions, mustard and ketchup.

Notes

Cooking times can vary between brands of air fryers.
