- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups peeled, shredded apples (about 4 medium apples)
- 1¼ cups chopped walnuts, divided
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
