Chocolate Spiderweb Halloween Bark Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces milk chocolate almond bark
  • 6 ounces white almond bark or white chocolate melting wafers
  • 20 - 25 pretzel sticks
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • candy spiders

Instructions

  • In microwave safe large bowl melt almond bark for 1 minute on high and stir. Continue melting at 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until chocolate is completely melted.
  • In medium microwave safe bowl, melt white almond bark following the same instructions in step one.
  • Spread melted chocolate almond bark about ¼ of inch thick on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
  • Place pretzel sticks in the shape of a spider web, using about 5-6 sticks per web. You may need to break sticks in half to fit them in.
  • Place melted white almond bark in a piping bag. Cut the tip off the bag then pipe lines connecting each pretzel stick in the web formation.
  • Add candy spiders to the center of each web and randomly around the web.
  • Fill in the remaining open spaces around the webs with Halloween sprinkles.
  • Set aside to allow the chocolate to harden.
  • Once the chocolate has set, use a knife to cut chocolate into pieces that resemble bark or break apart into pieces with your hands.

Notes

To Store: Once the bark is completely set you can store broken pieces in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
To Freeze: Place the Halloween bark in a freezer safe bag and place it in the freezer for up to 3 months.
