- 16 ounce box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients needed to prepare cake)
- 16 ounce tub vanilla frosting
- Green gel food coloring
- 48 candy eyes
- Black decorating icing
- Chocolate sprinkles
- Cupcake liners
Prepare cake mix according to package instructions for 24 cupcakes in a cupcake pan with liners.
Bake cupcakes per package directions and allow them to fully cool on a wire rack.
Mix together vanilla frosting and a few drops of green gel food coloring until well combined.
Spread or pipe the frosting onto the cooled cupcakes.
Add two candy eyes to each cupcake.
Use black decorating icing to create the mouth and scars for the face.
