Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
  • cups sugar, divided
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 6 cups water

Instructions

  • Combine the strawberries with ¼ cup sugar and ¼ cup water in a blender. Blend the ingredients together until smooth.
  • Pour the strawberry and sugar mixture into the bottom of a large pitcher. Add the remaining sugar, lemon juice, lemon slices, and remaining water to the pitcher and stir to mix.
  • Serve your strawberry lemonade immediately over ice or place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.

Notes

For long-term storage, remove the lemon slices from the pitcher after they’ve soaked for a few hours. Once the lemon slices are removed, your strawberry lemonade will stay fresh for up to three days in the refrigerator.
