- 10 ounce Package of Ditalini pasta (or any small pasta), cooked according to package directions
- 12 ounce Package of smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cups chicken broth (add more depending on the consistency you want)
- 1/2 cup chopped spicy pepperoncini peppers, seeded
- 1/4 cup juice from pepperoncini jar
- 1/4 cup Green Salsa Verde Sauce
- 6 ounce can of tomato paste
- 2 - 3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 15 ounce can black beans
- 15 ounce spicy pinto beans, or whatever beans you have in the pantry
In a medium skillet, add olive oil. Add sausage and brown on both sides. You do not need to cook through, just brown it.
Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Set aside.
Add all your remaining ingredients to the slow cooker including the browned sausage.
Stir until well blended.
Cook on low 3-4 hours.
