My husband loves any type of spicy food and this one is a favorite. This soup has so much flavor and is very filling. I like to serve it with warm crusty bread or hot buttered rolls.
Spicy Slow Cooker Sausage, Bean And Pasta Soup Ingredients
1 8 ounce Package of Ditalini pasta (or any small pasta), cooked according to package directions
1 12 ounce Package of smoked sausage, sliced
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cup chopped spicy pepperoncini peppers, seeded
1/4 cup juice from pepperoncini jar
1/4 Green Salsa Verde Sauce
3 cups chicken broth (add more depending on the consistency you want)
1 small can of tomato paste
2-3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon sriracha
2 tablespoons red pepper flakes
1 can black beans
1 can spicy pinto beans, or whatever beans you have in the pantry!
How To Make Spicy Slow Cooker Sausage, Bean And Pasta Soup
In a medium skillet, add olive oil. Add sausage and brown on both sides. You do not need to cook through, just brown it. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Set aside.
Add all your remaining ingredients to the slow cooker including the browned sausage. Stir until well blended.
Cook on low 3-4 hours. Garnish with sour cream and fresh green onion if desired.

- 15 ounce can black beans
- 15 ounce spicy pinto beans, or whatever beans you have in the pantry
