– 1 ½ cups all purpose flour – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 stick unsalted butter – ½ cup sugar – 2 eggs – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 21 ounce can cherry pie filling

– 2 ounces cream cheese, softened – ½ cup powdered sugar, sifted – ½ teaspoon vanilla extract – 2 to 3 Tablespoons milk
