Cinnamon Raisin Quick Bread

Cinnamon Raisin Quick Bread is the most delicious Fall comfort food!

It is made from scratch and easier than a yeast bread. Perfect served for breakfast or snack.

– ¼ cup butter softened – 1 egg – ¼ cup light brown sugar – ½ cup milk – 2 cups all-purpose flour see note – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ½ teaspoon baking soda – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1 tablespoon cinnamon – ⅓ cup raisins

INGREDIENTS

– ½ cup powdered sugar – 2 – 4 tablespoons heavy cream

STEP 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9×5 loaf pan with a non-stick baking spray.

STEP 2

Add boiling water to a small bowl and soak the raisins for 15 minutes. Then drain the raisins and set them on a towel to dry

STEP 3

 Mix together the light brown sugar and cinnamon in another small bowl.
