This coleslaw is delicious served with these Air Fryer Hamburgers. I actually like to add the coleslaw to the hamburger for a great tasting slaw burger. So good!

Another great way to serve the coleslaw is with Slow Cooker Italian Beef. This makes a delicious sandwich on a French roll with Italian Beef and cheese topped with Bacon Ranch Coleslaw. It’s always a hit!

Recipe Tips

I cook the bacon extra crispy so I can just crumble it into perfect size pieces to add to the slaw.

You can use a combination of green and red cabbage for more vibrant color and variety.

It’s a really easy recipe to make your own. You can add in green onions, red bell peppers, raisins or celery.

If you prefer a little sweetness to your coleslaw use apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar.

I suggest making this the night before or first thing the morning you plan to serve it. A longer chill time allows the flavors to soak into the vegetables.

Ingredients

  • bag pre-shredded coleslaw mix – I get the package that has chopped cabbage and shredded carrots. If you prefer you can buy a head of green cabbage and chop it and get a bag of carrots and shred them.
  • ranch dressing – You can buy your favorite brand of ranch dressing or make your own dressing.
  • mayonnaise – I use full fat mayonnaise but you could use light instead.
  • white vinegar – If you don’t have white vinegar on hand you can substitute apple cider vinegar instead.
  • bacon – Cooked and crumbled.

STEP 3: Place pre-shredded coleslaw mix in large bowl and add bacon.
