My family loves donuts and I love baking them instead of frying them. Any kind of baked donuts in donut pan are great. The Baked Oreo Donuts are popular around our house year-round.

As soon as the weather turns cooler I am ready for anything made with Pumpkin. These Pumpkin donuts are one of the first recipes I make and they don’t last long.

Baked Pumpkin Donuts Ingredients

1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
1 3/4 cups plus 2 tbsp flour
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder

How To Make Pumpkin Donuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a donut pan with baking spray.

Using a standing mixer, beat the vegetable oil, pumpkin puree, and sugar and add in eggs, one at a time, until well combined and smooth.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking powder until combined. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet.

Pour batter into the donut pan about 3/4 way full.

Bake in the oven for 24 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Place 1 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon into a large Ziplock bag.

Add a few donuts into the bag and shake until douts are covered in sugar.

Remove from bag and place onto a wire rack to cool.

  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet.

  6. Bake in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of one comes out clean.

  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

  8. Place 1 cup of sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon into a large Ziplock bag.

  9. Add a few doughnuts into the bag and shake until donuts are covered in sugar.

  10. Remove from bag and place onto a wire rack to cool.

I could get more than 12 donuts out of this recipe. Don’t know what size donuts this is supposed to be. So it depends on what kind of pan you have.
