Easy 20 Minute Spicy Thai Noodles
These Spicy Thai Noodles are so easy to make at home and sometimes I like to add shrimp or chicken to them. I usually use a pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to save time.
This Thai-inspired dish may not be truly authentic but it is delicious and everyone loves it.
Thai noodles can be served hot, cold or at room temperature. They are packed with flavor!
Dinner time doesn't have to be complicated. I like to keep meals simple and quick a few nights a week. And this recipe is perfect for busy weeknights.
Spicy Thai Noodles Ingredients
1 lb spaghetti or linguine pasta
1 to 2 Tbsp chili oil
1/3 cup sesame oil (sesame oil can be found in the grocery store ethnic food aisle)
1 1/2 tsp chili paste
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
Scallions carrots, peanuts, cilantro, Sriracha, and sesame seeds to garnish.
How To Make Spicy Thai Noodles
1. Fill a large pot of with water and cook pasta according to package instructions.
2. While the pasta is cooking chop all garnishes and set aside.
3. Once the pasta is done, drain it. In the same pot, combine the chili oil, sesame oil, and chili paste. Whisk in soy sauce and honey.
4. Toss pasta in the with the sauce until evenly coated.
5. Top with desired garnishes and enjoy!
I usually store any leftovers in an air tight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
I don't recommend freezing this dish because I have found that the noodles don’t thaw well once they have been frozen.
