Crispy Oven Baked Hot Wings
I always say that hot wings are like Mexican food - it's good anytime, anywhere! I eat way too much of them but it's hard to stop when they are so delicious.
These hot wings are easy to make and include the recipe for the homemade sauce. These are great dipped in ranch dressing (or your favorite dressing) and a side of celery and carrots are mandatory with wings!
Crispy Oven Baked Hot Wings Ingredients
Ingredients
4 lb chicken wings, Wingettes & Drumettes
1/4 cup oil
Sauce Ingredients
4 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup hot sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
How To Make Crispy Oven Baked Hot Wings
Preheat oven to 400F. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings and oil until all of the wings are coated.
Set a wire rack on a rimmed baking sheet and place the wings on the rack, making sure not to crowd the wings.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
In a saucepan, heat the sauce ingredients together. Toss the crispy wings, and sauce together in a large mixing bowl.
Serve with ranch and celery.
Tips To Making Crispy Oven Baked Hot Wings
- Make sure to dry the wings really well. I put them on a paper towel and dab them dry.
- Put aluminum foil under the wire rack on the baking sheet to make clean up easier.
- Don't over-crowd the winds on the rack. Leave a small space between each wing.
