See printable recipe card below for all ingredients, specific measurements, and complete instructions.

  • 1 tube crescent roll dough
  • 16 ham slices (deli)
  • 8 cheddar cheese slices
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp parsley (dried)

How To Make Ham And Cheddar Crescent Roll-Ups

Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll out the crescent dough pieces. Lay down two pieces of deli ham, leaving a margin of dough on both ends then place a piece of cheese on top of the ham.

Steps 1 through 3. Single crescent dough unrolled. Sliced ham added then sliced cheese.

Beginning from the widest end, begin to roll up the crescent dough, encasing the ham and cheese on the inside. Then place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Step 4 and 5. Crescent dough roll up with ham and cheese in it. And rolled crescent dough ready for oven.

Mix together the melted butter, garlic powder and parsley. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the crescent roll-ups.

Bake for approximately 10 to15 minutes or until the tops of the rollers are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes as to not burn yourself on the cheese!

Serve and enjoy!

Variations and Substitutions

  • You can make your own Crescent rolls instead of using store bought.
  • Use Turkey or chicken instead of ham.
  • Add yellow mustard or Dijon mustard.
  • Use Colby Jack or Pepper Jack cheese.

How To Store

I think this are best served fresh warm out of the oven but if you have any leftover they can be stored in the refrigerator. Allow to cool then place the ham and cheese crescent rolls in a airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.

I made this recipe today and received many compliments! I made a double batch and they all disappeared. My only thing I would do differently next time is use less butter to brush on them before baking. The bottoms did come out a little soggy but didn’t stop people from gobbling them down!!

Just made these. But I switched out the ham for roast beef, and made it into a beef dip type. With a bowl of Aujus.

So easy and delicious! I made these as is, and also made some chicken cheddar, and vegetarian ones with roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli and cheddar. Loved it!
