Recipe Tips
I recommend freshly grating your own cheese as it melts more smoothly than pre-shredded cheese.
Cube your cream cheese and set it on the counter to soften for about 30 to 45 minutes so it will be easier to blend without lumps.
If you like more seasoning you can add onion powder, garlic powder and smoked paprika to the chicken in addition to the salt and pepper.
I used sharp cheddar cheese but you can switch that out and use any cheese that you prefer or have on hand such as mild Cheddar, Colby Jack, Monterey Jack or even something a little spicy like Pepper Jack cheese.
You can use cooked turkey bacon if you prefer.
Best Side Dishes To Serve With Chicken
You can serve this with a BLT Salad With Homemade Croutons, Green Beans, Baked Parmesan Sweet Potato Fries, Air Fryer baked potatoes, or Old Fashioned Potato Salad. Any of these would be great side choices for baked crack chicken.
