To make this delicious Instant Pot Turkey Breast you will need a 7 to 8 pound Turkey, water, red onion, fresh thyme, fresh rosemary, garlic cloves, butter, lemon, salt and pepper.

How To Make Instant Pot Turkey Breast
- Set turkey breast on trivet in inner pot.
- Add water or chicken broth and remaining ingredients in inner pot of the Instant Pot.
- Close the instant pot lid and turn pressure valve to seal.
- Cook on manual high pressure for 35 to 45 minutes (depending on the size of turkey).
- Allow for a natural pressure release.
If you prefer a crispy brown skin you can put the turkey in a broiler pan and broil in the oven for just a few minutes. Keep a close eye on it when broiling so it doesn't get too brown.

Instant Pot Turkey Breast
Ingredients
- 7 pound turkey breast, thawed
- 1 cup water (or chicken broth)
- 1 red onion, quartered
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 2 garlic cloves, quartered
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Remove the giblets and any packets from the turkey cavity. Wash and pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- Place sprigs of rosemary, and thyme into the cavity of the turkey.
- Slice one end of lemon off and place in Turkey Cavity.
- In a small bowl, mix together butter, salt and pepper. Rub the butter mixture over the outside of the turkey.
- Set turkey breast, cavity side up on trivet in inner pot. Combine remaining ingredients in inner pot of the Instant Pot around the turkey breast.
- Close the instant pot lid and turn pressure valve to seal.
- Cook on manual high pressure for 6 minutes PER POUND. For a 7 pound turkey that would be 42 minutes.
- Allow for a natural pressure release.
- Once it is safe to open the Instant Pot , carefully open lid away from your face.
- Remove the turkey by lifting the Instant Pot trivet.
- Once Turkey is cool enough to handle, slice and place on serving platter.
